Eric Sullivan, 20, of Fall River, died Oct. 29, 2008 at RI Hospital. Born in Fall River, son of Michael Sullivan and the late Elizabeth Theberge. He worked as a cable services sales rep. Survivors include: adoptive parents, Kimberly & Michelle Landry; half-siblings, Zackary, Celeste & Mickele; paternal grandmother, Maureen Ramsey; several cousins, aunts & uncles. All are invited to gather for funeral Wednesday at 10 am from Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., and Mass in Espirito Santo Church at 11. No calling hours Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated.
RIP Eric your family misses you always!
Eric is my dearest cousin and good friend. I remember him as a baby when I was just 6 six years of age. His mother was taken years before her time and now they are both in a better place. I wish to remember all the good memories everyone has had of him and respect him today as we would want to be respected in the future. One of the most cherrished memories I have of Eric is when we both would be babysat at our Great Grandmother's house in Fall River. I could remember the funny things he used to say and do to make everyone laugh. He was a joy in our family to behold such a young boy full of life and happiness in this crazy world. He hadn't had the easiest time growing up but in the peak of troubling times he made the very best of everything. He was strong and caring towards his family and those around him. He had a good soul both respectful to his elders and family. I respect his foster family for providing open arms to him when he truly needed it the most.
With this, I say my goodbyes and Godbless till I see you again, my cousin, up there with our Father.

I always saw a lot of potential in Eric, and was very impressed by both his risiliency and his intellect. I can recall one time I took him out to look for jobs in the Fall River area (I had no idea where I was going so he had to direct me) We stopped at his favorite Chinese restaurant and had lunch, he told me what to order. Eric eventually left school, choosing another path. One day, several months after he left, I got a call from him. Eric called me to say "thanks," and to tell me that even though I was a counselor, and not another student, that he thought of me as "a friend." I'll never forget that, because most teenagers wouldn't have had enough insight to see that I truly did appreciate him and his unique philosophy on life. It saddens me that he met his fate in this manner and at such an early age. I won't ever forget Eric and I hope that wherever he is that he has found peace and knows that people continue to think of him...I do, every time I drive through Fall River, over the bridge and look out over the city where Eric lived most of his days.

Six Flags
I remember Eric's first Halloween with Kim and I after 2 long years of trying, we finally got to adopt him.He was 15 years old.He had a real tough guy grown -up personna, but with the mention of a trip to six flags he was so excited. His eyes lit up and he was a boy again. He could hardly contain himself the entire drive there.
When we finally arrived and walked through the gates, one of the photographers pulled the three of us aside and took our picture. I thank God every day we purchased that picture. We were all smiling ear to ear,if just for that moment..everything was perfect.
He rode almost all the rides and enjoyed some hot chocolate.
At the end of the night we went through the haunted house. Eric thought he was invinceable LOL...until around one dark and creepy corner a masked man popped out at him and Eric shreiked so loud! We all had a great laugh ,and he followed behind Kim and I the rest of the way.-We miss you.-Love Kim and Michelle
